6. Silver now in front of Vincent, eyes wide: Do you know what kind of creatures are out there? They'd eat us in one bite!
7. Vincent throwing his arms in the air: Then don't go!
Now if only he’ll stand his ground and this’d go somewhere other than the predictable “Girls guilt-trip Boys into doing something Stupid” cliche, but I suspect the twist will lie elsewhere.
Still, Vin surprised me by holding his ground – good show, I say. Wot wot, jolly good!
I think Vin developed a lot of street smarts in his earlier days and now that wisdom is paying off. He’s not going to let some girly tricks persuade him. 🙂
Also, he’s being manipulated into doing something that is both wrong, and that he doesn’t want to do, and he knows it. When someone does that kind of thing to you, it generally speaks very poorly of their character – remember, they’re all virtually strangers here.
Also, getting angry at someone trying to manipulate you is generally a good defencive measure against this kind of sympathy-based manipulation.
I think Vin has control of this “argument” now, he has given them a simple answer to the “dangers” out there. If they press it as if he would make a difference in their safety if he just came along…well logically speaking he probably wouldn’t. If they go anyway without him, then he can just get an adult.
Granted things probably aren’t going to work that way…
I doubt that Silver and Quinn could convince him right now. It’s the person making the noise behind them that I’m betting will sucker them into, er, convince the boys to go along.
I just realized: it’s just Silver, Quinn, Vin and Darrik, isn’t it? None of the other girls are seen after page 659. That means they can’t overpower Vin should they want to.
Lol at Darrik hiding behind Vin =P Be the man Vin! Wait… don’t be the man that would mean you would give in :D. I doubt it will work but certainly a good show for Vin’s sense of what’s stupid and not lol.
Something to consider is Vin’s life experiences. He hasn’t had the nice, cushy, pampered life that the rest of the cast got to enjoy. He probably has more common sense and streetsmarts then the rest of the cubs combined.

Where did Silver learn to be THAT unbelievably cute and innocent? She’s so cute, it’s almost scary.
Vin is being utterly cold hearted about this. Of course, he’s taking the wisest route, so of course he’ll get suckered into this. 😉
Lorenith
Lets see if logic wins. 😛

How is Vin going to impress the girls in that way? I see a bachelor for life.
HEX the Dark
it won’t…that would be boring.

Good Job Vin!!! Stand your ground, that’s better than I could muster… I’d have to just walk away..

Emphasis on the “unbelievably”, hariman. 😀

If I were Vin I’d have given in already, because I’m to much a chivalrous guy.

Vin is smart but why does he look so mean on the last days? He scares me…
sirbacon
@ Lyn, because everyone’s been driving him CRAZY!
…or maybe he takes after his father more than he knows. Oooh, that’s a scary thought.

and we are forgetting, vin is still trying to get over his mother’s death.
He needs some alone time. It is good that he stood his ground. I like how darrik is cowering behind vin like he expects to be attacked by the girls
This demond hors thing is a buncha hooey. It’s a hologram or better yet two people in in a horse costume.
Furtermore, way back Marrion mentined something about a plan could this be it?
