Tiff: Why have I got the feeling that this was the aforementioned event that you’ve been thinking about for the past decade?
Lycanthrope: Vin knows that his Father is a Dratsad of the highest order. So Vin also knows that cussing out his murdering vengeful killer of a father for being an utter irredeemable Dratsad is probably a bad idea.
Personally, I am hoping that someone will get to rub Rama’s nose is how he is Worse. Than. His. Daddy, the erstwhile womanizer Shean Tibal.
Re Vin’s mother. She kept Vin in poverty even though she knew she could get welfare from him. Likewise she let her current boyfriend beat Vin up.
In a way Rama did Vin a favor both by protecting him and giving him the oppurtunity to accomplish his dreams.
And then Rama walked away so he could set this meeting up instead of going directly to his son. After killing Oran AND Noiya.
If Rama actually cared for his son, he would only have killed Oran and left Noiya alive. Rama’s Daddy Shean at least came back, even if Rama never accepted it.
Not only is Rama’s his father’s son, he’s learned nothing from his father and has made far worse decisions.

First words: “You are no father.”
Second words: “You want to talk? Here, let me turn the horse around and let you speak to the south end.”
No, Vin will not say either. It is just what I would say to Rama. Right before I rammed my first two knuckles into his equivalent of an Adam’s Apple.

Well dam no smoke no fire not even a few embers, I thought the devil would have a little more flare in his intro.

SQUID!! Not good!
Vin, Just keep him talking, but don’t listen. As soon as you see an opening, run.

Ok “Dad,” I call first topic. About the murder of my mother…
Eboreg
Not to mention rape.

@Elithril: I hadn’t thought of that one.

I hate to say it guys but…well, I won’t say it. Interesting, I don’t think we’ve ever seen Rama so clear before. Love the art work.

If my father showed up this late in my life I would give him the finger and slam the door. My father never abandoned me though, my mother did however.
