Status Update

Everything is going along well to have the usual run of comics done for next week!  So I’m slowly catch up!  I’ll be working Cyantian Chronicles #3 to launch ASAP.

Right now, I’m concentrating on getting all the comics up. With my current schedule, I lose a lot of time by being at the apartment in the morning. That won’t be fixed until the apartment rents out. The longest this will go on will be until February. That’s the last day we have to make a payment and then I’ll be able to go find a cheap used car to get my daughter to school and myself back home to work.

That means, everything is tight until March. :/ That also means I’m going to make some changes. First of all, I need to print books! Second, I am going to strip all but one ad out of my comic pages. I am tired of ads and the problems they cause me. They’re seriously a huge headache, but that also costs me $200+ a month. I’ll be redoing the layouts to a much simpler look. Third, I need Patreon to hit $1,000 a month so I don’t have to worry about anything. To go with this, I will have a website to go with Patreon or you can access it outside, which will contain ALL the comics, including the exclusives in easy to navigate archives. (Patreon’s horrible for reading past updates,… I know.) Fourth, going to concentrate on books and pdfs and getting a routine started.

This all takes time, but I’m very motivated to make up the remaining $800 I’m missing after closing. That needs to get stashed into savings to pay the double rent/mortgage on the months it overlaps for Dec/Jan/Feb. There isn’t any Christmas this year, since we already got a house and that’s what we needed more than anything. 😀 Now we just have to make it to March and get that financial weight off of us.

  1. I fully understand, hun. Life and family take presedence over updating. I hope your daughter will be okay, and I send hopeful and happy thoughts your way. Take care.

  2. We are more than happy to let you take time do do what you need to. 🙂
