Possibly – but I think it’s more likely because he woke up and got out of cryo earlier than he was supposed to (the box gave alerts about that, and tried to summon medical assistance). Apparently it wasn’t programmed to deal properly with elite Cyantian wolves…
Hiatus is over. I percieve that a change in update status is in order (for Akalae (spelling?) too. It seems to have the hiatus now). I would be interested to know the actual update schedule.
Anyhow, I see that things are getting moving quite quickly. I look forward to seeing where it goes from here.
First thought on the cryosleep bit is that it IS cryogenic, meaning deep deep silly unholy freeze-you-solid kind of cold. He likely has a hideous cocktail of anti-freeze chemicals running through his blood, plus whatever hormones and cocktails would be needed to keep the cells alive in that state and him in hibernation (which can’t be nice to ones’ brain chemistry). Then there’s the issue of time, potential muscle atrophy and the general effects of that. I sincerely doubt the cryosleep rig included electrostimulus to keep his muscle tone. I also don’t even want to begin to speculate being kept, likely through either chemical or even electromagnetic induction, in a state of deep sleep or possibly even REM sleep for so long. What does THAT do to ones’ time-sense and thought processes? Whatever it does, it can’t be good.

Syrys seems to favor moving around on all fours. Does cryo temporary decrease balance and dexterity?

That and he has to literally Walk It Off or he doesn’t heal.

He did say he felt cold and stiff. It’s probably easier that way. I think I’d prefer extra support, too.
Heh, I like how he describes the scent of our favorite skunks. ^_^
